The Artichoke Affair Pizza Recipe

Tomato & parmesan pizza sauce, tender artichokes, prosciutto, chicken, Kalamata olives...it just feels right. .
Ingredients:
- Sonoma Gourmet Tomato & Parm Pizza Sauce
- Fresh pizza dough, at room temperature
- Mozzarella cheese
- Artichoke hearts, quartered
- Proscuitto
- Kalamata olives
- Parsley, for garnish
Preparation:
- Pre-heat pizza oven or oven to high.
- Roll or stretch your pizza dough into a 10–12 inch circle on a floured surface. Transfer to a pizza peel, baking sheet, or parchment.
- Spread a thin, even layer of tomato parmesan sauce over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Layer on cheese, artichokes, prosciutto, and other toppings you like. Less is more — no need to overload it.
- Slide the pizza onto the stone or place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling — about 7–10 minutes.
- Let the pizza cool for 1–2 minutes. Top with fresh parsley and olive oil. Slice and enjoy!
