Cheesy and savory Bow Tie Pasta with Bacon and Parmesan tosses tender noodles in smoky crisp bacon and Sonoma Gourmet Kale Pesto White Cheddar Sauce. Serves 4 people.
Ingredients:
- 10 oz bow tie (farfalle) pasta
- 5 slices bacon
- 1 cup Sonoma Gourmet Kale Pesto White Cheddar Sauce
- 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp Sonoma Gourmet 100% California Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Preparation:
- Cook bow tie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy, drain on paper towels, and crumble.
- Return the pasta to the pot over low heat and stir in Sonoma Gourmet Kale Pesto White Cheddar Sauce and olive oil until hot and creamy.
- Toss in crumbled bacon and half the Parmesan cheese.
- Season with black pepper and serve with remaining Parmesan and parsley.
