Cheesy and savory Bow Tie Pasta with Bacon and Parmesan tosses tender noodles in smoky crisp bacon and Sonoma Gourmet Kale Pesto White Cheddar Sauce. Serves 4 people.

Ingredients:

  • 10 oz bow tie (farfalle) pasta
  • 5 slices bacon
  • 1 cup Sonoma Gourmet Kale Pesto White Cheddar Sauce
  • 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Sonoma Gourmet 100% California Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Preparation:

  1. Cook bow tie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy, drain on paper towels, and crumble.
  3. Return the pasta to the pot over low heat and stir in Sonoma Gourmet Kale Pesto White Cheddar Sauce and olive oil until hot and creamy.
  4. Toss in crumbled bacon and half the Parmesan cheese.
  5. Season with black pepper and serve with remaining Parmesan and parsley.
