Fried Chicken Parm Sliders pile crispy chicken, gooey cheese, and a splash of Sonoma Gourmet Creamy Tomato Parmesan Sauce on mini buns. Serves 6 people.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 1/2 cup oil for frying
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 1/2 cups Sonoma Gourmet Creamy Tomato Parmesan Sauce
  • 6 oz mozzarella, sliced or shredded
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Preparation:

  1. Slice chicken into 12 slider-sized pieces. Dredge in flour, then egg, then panko mixed with Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet to 325°F. Fry chicken pieces until golden and cooked through; drain on paper towels or on a rack.
  3. Halve and lightly toast the slider buns. Arrange the bottoms in a baking dish.
  4. Spoon a layer of Sonoma Gourmet Creamy Tomato Parmesan Sauce on each bottom bun, top with fried chicken, another spoonful of sauce, and mozzarella. Add bun tops.
  5. Mix melted butter and garlic; brush over the buns and sprinkle with extra Parmesan.
  6. Cover with foil and bake at 400°F for 15–18 minutes, then uncover for 3 more minutes until tops are golden.
  • Pro-Tip: For extra crispiness, keep fried chicken pieces in a warm oven on a wire rack before assembling to prevent sogginess.
