White Broccolini Pizza w/ Crème Fraîche Recipe

A golden pie piled high with crispy broccolini, spicy Italian sausage, creamy crème fraîche, and a generous glug of Sonoma Gourmet’s 100% Californian EVOO. Basically a fancy veggie party on a crust. Serves 2-4.
Ingredients:
- 2–3 Tbsp Sonoma Gourmet 100% Californian EVOO
- ½ cup crème fraîche
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan
- 1 bunch broccolini, trimmed and sliced lengthwise
- 3-4 Italian sausages, sliced on a bias
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt & black pepper
- Optional: red pepper flakes, lemon zest, chili oil
Preparation:
- Heat oven to 475°F (or as hot as it goes). If using a pizza stone, preheat it as well.
- Toss sliced broccolini with 1 Tbsp of Sonoma Gourmet EVOO, a pinch of salt, and black pepper. Set aside.
- Stretch or roll your pizza dough into a round or rustic oval. Transfer to a parchment-lined sheet or pizza peel.
- Brush the dough lightly with Sonoma Gourmet EVOO. Spread crème fraîche evenly over the surface, leaving a small border.
- Sprinkle on the mozzarella and half the Parmesan. Scatter the broccolini, sausage, and garlic over the top.
- Slide into the oven and bake 10–14 minutes, until the crust is golden and the broccolini edges are lightly crisp.
- Drizzle with a little more Sonoma Gourmet EVOO, sprinkle remaining Parmesan, and add optional red pepper or lemon zest.
- Slice and enjoy immediately.
- Pro Tip: A little hot sauce? Why not?
