Dive into a crispy, garlicky filet of King Salmon sizzling in Sonoma Gourmet Sautéed Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil! Feeds 4 people.
Ingredients:
- 4 King Salmon fillets (6–8 oz each)
- 3 tablespoons Sonoma Gourmet Sautéed Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 lemons (1 for the zest, and 1 for plating)
Preparation:
- Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat Sonoma Gourmet Sautéed Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the hot oil and cook without moving for 4–5 minutes, until the skin is crisp and flesh turns opaque about halfway up.
- Flip fillets gently and cook the other side for 2–4 minutes until the fish is mostly opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Transfer salmon to serving plates and finish with a lemon wedge and zest, as well as a generous drizzle of the leftover garlic olive oil from the pan.
- Pro-tip: This garlicky salmon dish pairs beautifully with simple sides like roasted potatoes, steamed veggies, or fresh greens for a well-rounded, festive meal for this holiday season.
