4 Easy Weeknight Meals You Can Whip Up With Sonoma Gourmet

May 11, 2021

Craving something new and easy to add to your meal rotation? Whether it’s after a long day of work or a busy evening of driving the kids to soccer practice, you can count on these delicious recipes that can be whipped up at a moment's notice.

1. Bacon Gnocchi Alfredo

This simple recipe can transport your taste buds to the Italian countryside with ingredients that you may already have in your kitchen. Start by boiling a large pot of well-salted water and adding your gnocchi. While that’s cooking, mix together a 15.5 oz. jar of Sonoma Gourmet Bacon Alfredo, one egg yolk, and a quarter cup of grated parmesan cheese.

It only gets easier from there! Chop up bacon and cook it in a large skillet until crisp. Then over low heat, add some garlic until fragrant, the alfredo-parmesan mixture, a little bit of lemon zest, salt, and pepper and you have the perfectly creamy sauce to add to your gnocchi.

2. Southwest Veggie Bowl

Wondering what to do with all the veggies you picked up at the local farmers’ market? A Southwest Veggie Bowl is perfect. Cut up one red bell pepper and one yellow bell pepper, gather eight ounces of trimmed green bean, one bunch of asparagus, and a pint of cherry tomatoes. Season everything and grill until charred.

Meanwhile, in a hot skillet, add frozen corn seasoned with ground cumin and chili powder. Then add our Kale Pesto White Cheddar Sauce and your meal is almost complete! Prepare each bowl with a scoop of cooked and cooled farro, as many grilled veggies as you want, and a scoop of seasoned corn.

3. Sheet-Pan Sausage & Veggies

There’s nothing easier than a sheet pan dinner. For this recipe, all you need is a jar of Sonoma Gourmet Roasted Garlic Sauce, olive oil, raw sausage, potatoes, and veggies of your choice. Cook the sausage in a large skillet until lightly browned and set it aside.

Toss the potatoes, onion, bell peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, red seedless grapes, and parsley in a large bowl and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and a little more oil. Toss it all on a baking sheet and nestle the sausage throughout the veggies, cook through, and serve with garlic sauce.

4. Skillet Pan Pizza

All you need is pizza dough, Sonoma Gourmet Pizza Sauce, and a few toppings to make a skillet pizza the entire family will love. Season your dough with flavored olive oil and salt as you carefully lay it in a cast-iron skillet. Then add you sauce, cheese, and toppings of your choice.

We recommend cremini mushrooms, fresh basil, sliced fennel, and spicy Italian ground sausage, but the pizza is a canvas for your creativity (or to use up what you have in the fridge).
